Kiln Formed Art Glass

" SPIRIT VESSELS"

These vessels were inspired by a carving I saw that was made on Easter Island.
Although the carving depicted a bird form, it was not of a Raven.  Most likely, it was a
sooty tern, which has historical meaning on Rapa Nui (Easter Island)  Ravens are very special to me though, so whenever I depict a bird in my work, I usually choose to represent the Raven.
